Who Are We?
We are Fellow-RV'rs
As a former IT business owner, I've seen my share of screensavers and background images; all those cool places we wanted to go and see for ourselves. So in 2016 my wife and I bought an RV, and for the next four years travelled to many amazing places. Along the way we've learned a few things about RV'g and the benefit of a robust and reliable solar power system. Our own experience told us that solar was just an afterthought for our own dealer, with incorrect wiring and solar charger settings that failed our batteries prematurely. Our mission is to help you avoid those same mistakes.
What do we do?
As a computer/IT guy, I found that clients wanted to know what technology could do for them and not just read information that only us fact-nerds love. That is part of our mission - to ensure you know what a solar system can and CANNOT do for your RV lifestyle. (Spoiler Alert: Almost anything - depending on budget). We will take the time to look at how you camp/glamp/or travel, and see what fits your needs and your budget.
Batteries - Your Core Power System
Your water pump, furnace, refrigerator, lights, phones tablets, CPAP - they all require electrical power - and most of the time that power comes from your batteries. When you are plugged in at home or an RV park, they get re-recharged by the power utility....but some of the best places to visit have no extension cord long enough to accomplish that.
So Where Does Solar Come In?
Solar energy gives you the freedom to explore those great outdoor spaces, without the constraints of fuel availability or the noise and pollution of a generator. With the right solar system, you can extend a long weekend for lights, phones and water pump - or, with a larger system you can step up and run your InstantPot [C] , watch some light-night TV, or even run your microwave. We will assess your lifestyle and help you choose what fits best.
